Predictor
Posted by rajiv on 20 April 2009
On Friday, Rajseran predicted the following:
- Champions League winners: Barcelona
- UEFA Cup winners: Hamburg
- Premier League winners: Liverpool
- Bundesliga winners: Wolfsburg
- FA Cup winners: Arsenal
- S. League: FIOFAFI
Not unsurprisingly, Rajseran has not predicted Manchester United to win anything further this season. 🙂
Apart from the fact that FIOFAFI does not play in the S. League, the season only ends in November, so perhaps we should ask him about the French Ligue 1 instead.
All of the following competitions will be decided by the end of May 2009.
- European Champions League
- UEFA Cup
- English Premier League
- German Bundesliga
- French Ligue 1
- English FA Cup
Add your predictions below and I’ll insert it into the table I have created. To make it more interesting, the participant who predicts the most correct will win a free FIOFAFI jersey (to be provided by me). If the winner’s size and choice of colour are currently available, he’ll get it immediately after May, otherwise, he’ll have to wait for the next batch.
In the event of a tie, the tie breaker will in the order that the six competitions are listed above. If it remains tied, the earlier in time wins. Time is taken as the last of any changes to the predictions.
To qualify for the prize, you have to be on the Participant List, and your prediction has to be added before the first of the Champions League semifinals starts next Tuesday (Wednesday, 2.45 am, Singapore time).
As always this is just for fun.

Guess i am right that Man u will not win the Fa cup 🙂

Nor will Arsenal. 🙂
You’ll have to re-submit your prediction for the FA Cup, and add your prediction for the French league.

What about Spanish and Italian ,
i guess its too easy as both Barcelona and INter are on track since Juventus could not beat INter .

Yup. Same applies to the Dutch league, and the Championship and League One in England. 🙂

French League Its abt time Marseille take this one since Lyon has been there for too long and losing to Gronigen yesterday
FA CUP – i am going with Everton .
Everton has nothing else to play for except this one . Chelsea is still fighting for premier league standings and champions league . If Chelsea do win and qualifies for finals , then probably they will be 70% fit meeting Everton by then
Arsenal will just unfortunate not to be in the finals , a blunder by the keeper made it easy for Drogba
And last thing , the line up for MAN U last night was horrible .

Bordeaux, not Groningen. Groningen are in the Dutch league. 🙂

That is for Ferguson to reply . The line up only showed that he had no interest . The initial handicap for MAn u was -1 but dropped to -0.25 30 mins before kick off . Those must be laughing to the bank who ate the handicap . But i had no interest in this game.

I’ll go for Bordeaux then!

Only two entries so far – not a particularly popular feature then. 🙂
Never mind, I’ll extend entries until the match that decides the first of the 6 specified competitions kicks off.
Minimum of 10 entries for the prize to be offered.
