Monthly Round Up: February 2010

The player tables have been updated.
As stated last month, the points are as follows:
- 2.2 for a win bonus.
- 2.1 for a draw bonus, modified bonus or no result (with comments).
- 2.0 for a loss (participation point) or no comments (that is, I don’t know what happened).
- 0.4 for each vote in the player poll.
Modified bonus or no result (with comments) arises when:
- There is discussion of the game, but uncertainty as to the result.
- The line ups were mixed up because a player brought the wrong colour. If the line ups are changed by agreement, then the result will be applied.
- There is a late replacement of a player.
- A player fails to turn up.
There were insufficient votes for the player of the month, so for last month, I have included 0.5 votes for every player who commented on the game. The summary for the player of the month has been updated accordingly.

The names of those who haven’t played since the start of the year will be dropped from next month’s list. All it means is that you won’t receive the participant list anymore. You can still put yourself down for any game on the message board. Once you play again, your name will be put back on the list. I’m at risk of having my name dropped!
There are several more players who are interested (including a few who have registered as members of the message board), but their names are not included in the list at the present time as they have yet to play.
